What are Brigadeiros?
Brigadeiro is a traditional Brazilian dessert made with condensed milk, thought to be created by a confectioner in Rio de Janeiro. They are bite size sweets that have a melt-in-your-mouth, truffle like texture, and are hand rolled individually, then decorated with sprinkles, hundreds and thousands or a range of other toppings. Traditionally just chocolate and coconut (known as beijinhos de coco) brigadeiros were served, but now there are a whole range of flavours to satisfy any tastebud. Serving these will definitely make you the most popular person around!
